OPTIVISC SINGLE™ is suitable for the treatment of mild to moderate osteoarthritis by the viscoelastic supplementation or replacement of synovial fluid in human joints. OPTIVISC SINGLE™ is recommended for patients with mild to moderate osteoarthritis to relieve pain and reduce joint stiffness. OPTIVISC SINGLE™ provides mechanical protection and acts as a lubricant. Anti-inflammatory and chrondoprotective.

OPTIVISC SINGLE™ is a medical device that must be administered into the appropriate joint by an authorised medical specialist in accordance with local regulations. OPTIVISC SINGLE™ comes with a 3 ml single-use glass syringe with Luer-lock adapter in a blister pack. The syringe contains sterile, non-animal derived hyaluronic acid gel. The use of a needle (18G-25G) of sufficient length to inject the gel into the knee joint is recommended.

24 months. OPTIVISC SINGLE™ must be used before the expiry date indicated on the packaging.

OPTIVISC SINGLE™ should be stored between 2 °C and 25 °C. Do not freeze.

OPTIVISC SINGLE™ does not contain any animal-derived material that could potentially trigger adverse reactions. OPTIVISC SINGLE™ contains natural, non-allergenic hyaluronic acid made by bacterial biofermentation.
